Southside Scoop – T3W7

Dear Southside Montessori Families,
Welcome to our fourth newsletter for Term 3!
As we make our way through the final three weeks of the term, we are pleased to share another edition of our newsletter with you. The past few weeks have brought many lovely moments, celebrations and opportunities for our community to come together.
Over the past two weeks, our “Symphony of Stories” Book Week, the 156th Birthday of Dr Maria Montessori, Father’s Day, Aboriginal Show and Tell, and our special visit from our local Member of Parliament have each brought something special to our school community. Alongside these events, our classrooms have continued to be filled with purposeful learning, exploration and wonderful engagement as the children have immersed themselves in their everyday activities and experiences.
As we continue towards the end of Term 3, we hope you enjoy taking a moment to look through this edition and reflect on some of the experiences we have shared over the past few weeks.
Maria Montessori beautifully reminds us:
“The child is the builder of himself.”
It is through the many small experiences, relationships and moments that children continue to discover, grow and develop in their own way. We are grateful to share these everyday moments with our children and families.
Thank you for your continued support and for being part of our Southside Montessori community
.We look forward to the final three weeks of Term 3.
Warmly,
Southside Montessori Team
